Words of Cheer Colour Challenge

We are sharing a NEW Colour challenge over at the Global Design Project #GDP313. I LOVE seeing all the variation a colour challenge can bring. I have used the Words of Cheer Bundle .

Colour Challenge Image from the Global Design Project

All the supplies I have used to create this card is listed at the end of my blog post. The background was die cut with the dotty line from the Words of Cheer Bundle. I think its original intention would be to die cut lots of berries in one go, but how cool does this look as a background?

Christmas Card using Poinsettia Image from Words Of Cheer Bundle. All products from Stampin' Up!

Step 1: Stamp the image in Staz-On, onto watercolour card stock. It has then been coloured with Real Red and Sahara Sand Ink. Within this bundle there is a die to cut the outline of this image, so makes this quick and easy to cut out.

Step 2: Add some watercolour of Sahara Sand ink to a scrap piece of watercolour cardstock. Once dry I have then die cut out the extra holly leaves and little sprigs.

Step 3: Stamp out the floral image a second time and colour with Real Red ink, once dry cut out the flower and add this to the main image with a mini dimensional

Step 4: Add on your additional sprig and holly pieces.

Step 5: Die cut both the large ‘Happy’ and background piece of this word in watercolour cardstock. then apply Real Red Ink to the ‘Happy’ and Sahara Sand ink to the background piece. Once dry, you can layer together with multipurpose glue.

Step 6: Die cut the dit from the background panel of Sahara Sand. I have run this through 3 times, but you can cut as many rows of dots as you wish.

Step 7: Splatter the Basic Black Blend pen on the background

Step 8: Add all of your floral and word pieces on to the front if your card. Complete with some of the Wonderful Gems
